Description
A comic by the Mark Ashton Trust. Mark Ashton (19 May 1960 – 11 February 1987) was a gay rights activist and the co-founder of Lesbian and Gays support the Miners (LGSM). Ashton was also a member of the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB). He was diagnosed with AIDS in the late 1980s and sadly died of pneumonia in 1987. His involvement in Lesbian and Gays Support the Miners was documented in the 2014 film "Pride". First page is a graphic illustration for the Mark Ashton Trust. Second page is a storyboard panel with 10 individual scenes graphically depicting safer sex education. Final page states, "The Mark Ashton Trust is a trust fund which is raising money for the care of people with AIDS and AIDS related complexes."
